Permanent hypoparathyroidism(PH) is incurable condition and requires life long drug therapy.Unique therapeutic option is parathyroid allotransplantation(PA).Some studies use routinely but emprically HLA typing,PRA(panel reactive antibody) and DSA(donor specific antigen) screening tests before PA.In this research we aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of HLA,PRA and DSA for success of PA.We performed PA to unrelated four recipients from one living donor.HLA typing,PRA and DSA levels were observed.Recipients were discharged from the hospital without any complications and observed throughout four years. Two out of four PAs were successful. No correlations were observed for the success of transplantation about the tests of HLA typing,PRA and DSA(Table 1).In conclusion HLA typing,PRA and DSA tests were not necessary for PA.
